Clarke takes silver medal for SKN at Carifta Games

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- The Federation clinched its first medal of the 2024 CARIFTA Athletics Games in Grenada, as Jaheem Clarke secured the silver medal Saturday morning.

     

    Clarke demonstrated remarkable prowess in the Boys Under-17 Javelin event, achieving a personal best throw of 56.09m, securing the silver medal for St. Kitts and Nevis.

     

    Abijah Namdhari also represented the federation admirably, finishing in fourth place with a throw of 54.10m.

     

    With several athletes successfully qualifying for events scheduled for later in the day, Public Relations Officer Patrice Harris confirmed the team's enthusiasm and determination as they continue to proudly represent St. Kitts and Nevis on the regional stage.

     

    Meanwhile, St. Kitts and Nevis will have representation in the finals of the Girls Under-17 400m and the Boys Under-20m events.
