BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - The general public is advised of the following interruptions to the flow of traffic on December 31, January 1 and 2 to facilitate the smooth passage of troupes during the Children’s Carnival parade, the New Year’s Day Parade and Last Lap respectively.

Route for Children’s Carnival:

• Down Victoria Road
• Right on to Cayon Street
• Left on to Church Street
• Right on to Lower College Street
• Left on to the Bay Road
• Left on to Fort Street
• Right on to Cayon Street
• Right on to West Independence Street
• Right onto the Bay Road terminating outside Rams Supermarket.

Route for New Year’s Day Parade:

• Troupes will assemble on Wigley Avenue
• Turn right on to Cayon Street
• West Square Street
• South Square Street
• East Square Street
• Pond Road
• Sandown Road
• Bay Road
• Fort Street
• Church Street
• Lower College Street
• Bay Road

Last Lap Route: same as (J'ouvert Route)

• Fort Street
• Cayon Street
• West Square St.
• Bay Road
• Church Street

Motorists are asked to avoid driving or parking on these streets when in use by the troupes. Traffic signs will be placed to indicate restrictions.
