    Basseterre, St.Kitts (April 20th):-
      The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export), held their Official Launch of the Caribbean Gift and Craft Show (CGCS) 2006 which feature the Caribbean Fashion Rhythms at the Ocean Terrace Inn, Wednesday, April 19 2006.  
     
    Four years ago Caribbean Gift and Craft show vision came about in the eyes of Jacinth Henry-Martin a former Minister of Government and in 2005 presentation was given for St. Kitts to host the 2006 CGCS.  This years' theme is "Excellence through innovation, creativity and strategic."
     
    The CGC Show will be celebrating its 13th Anniversary at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino here in St. Kitts from September 14 to 17, 2006.
     
    Minister of State with responsibility for Tourism, Culture and Sports, Richard Skerritt said that the CGCS is a market opportunity that is up to all of us.
     
    "Buyers and sellers should take full use of it as a market place and I urge other potential sponsors to get on board," he said.

    Development of new products, Usage of preferential legal frame work: CSM, bilateral and Strategic alliances. Also group strategy and others are some key areas for the success of the craft industry that Taiana Mora-Ramis, executive director of Caribbean Export Development Agency said at the launch.
     
    Exciting activities and programmes of the Caribbean Gift and Craft Show 2006 would be amongst others; preparatory seminars, business seminar, best of show awards, Caribbean fashion rhythms and trade shows.
