Twenty20 ‘Bring It Bus’ comes to St. Kitts

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - GET in on the Twenty20 action and receive your free shirts and paraphernalia in preparation for the ICC WT20 WEST INDIES 2010 cricket matches in St. Kitts, as the ‘Bring It Bus’ roars onto the Ferry Terminal at 4:00 p.m. today (Apr. 7).

     

    The Bring It Tour Bus recently visited Antigua and Trinidad, where many people have already started getting excited and prepared for the monumental event.

     

    The ICC WT20 games will be played from April 30 to May 16 and the first match is scheduled for Guyana. 
    The ICC World Twenty20 or the ICC World T20, also called T20 World Cup, is the international championship of Twenty20 cricket.

     

    The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament consists of 12 all-male teams and will be contested by all Test-playing nations, plus qualifiers.

     

    The inaugural event was held in 2007 in South Africa and saw India coming out the victor. The 2010 tournaments are being held in various countries around the Caribbean including St. Kitts.

     

    A number of artistes including Allison Hinds, Fay-Ann Lyons and Mr. Vegas are scheduled to perform at a number of the games.
