BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -The Fireflies Dance School has confirmed that rain or shine, their 5th anniversary Dance Recital will be held this weekend. The spokesperson for the school said that all three sub groups; Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors are hard at work putting the final touches on their dances that will all feature some element or agent of the weather.
Attendees can expect to enjoy a variety of presentations such as “Walking on Sunshine”,“Somewhere over the Rainbow” and for the first time the Fathers will join the dancers on stage for a unique “Daddy-Daughter Dance”.
The school has invited other dance groups to join in their 5th anniversary celebration, and so the Children’s Dance Theatre, CFBC Dance Ensemble and Anjolique Dance Company are also busy preparing for their special guest appearances.
“Weather or Not, Let’s Dance!” takes place this Sunday July 4th at 5pm at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium.
