BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (MARCH 18TH 2004) – Outstanding citizens of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis will be honoured for their contribution to various fields at the Fifth Friends of Labour Awards Dinner and Dance in Canada.
Organisers said Thursday the event is scheduled for Saturday 22nd May at the Marriott Renaissance Toronto Skydome Hotel in Toronto .
St. Kitts and Nevis Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Trade, Labour, Social Security, CARICOM Affairs and Telecommunications and Technology has been invited to be the Guest Speaker. Mr. Condor is also the Deputy National Political Leader of the governing St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and the Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 3 (West Basseterre ).
Kittitians and Nevisians who have made sterling contributions in arts, business, public service and community service will be honoured. The names of the honourees are to be announced at a later date.
