KINGSTON Jamaica, January 12 2011 – Her natural radiance is enough to captivate audiences around the world. Add that to the fact that this first generation Canadian of Caribbean descent has a beautiful singing voice. It is no wonder that she has repeatedly graced stages in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Shalli is no ordinary woman. Her Jamaican mother and Dominican father infused musical vibrations in her at a young age. When she was 5-years-old, she started singing in the church choir and never turned back. Shalli is now a full-fledged recording and performing artiste who incorporates an array of influences into her style, including R&B, soul, reggae, hip-hop, dance, electronic and world music.
Shalli’s latest single and corresponding video is called, ‘Show My Love’ – a cheery, positive track that reminds listeners of the power of showing love to everybody, everyday. The track is on the Goodmood Riddim, produced by Bobby Chin of Black Chiney and Hi A Grade Productions.
Shalli was recently in Jamaica during the Christmas holidays. During her visit to the island she performed at the Negril Escape Resort, where she opened for Marcia Griffiths on the One Love Reggae Concert Winter Series. She also performed at the famous Montego Bay night spot Pier One.
