BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IN 2010 many copied her looks, but now fans can also attempt to smell like Rihanna as she has recently completed her debut scent ‘Reb’l Fleur’, giving her fans something else to add to their collection.
Although, it has taken sometime for the Bajan songbird to create, the perfume promises to be a big hit as unique as herself.
As Rihanna follows the trend of some other celebrities like Beyonce, Britney Spears and Jenifer Lopez who too are not only known for their voices but their exotic fragrances, her perfume will hit the stores in February just in time for Valentines Day.
According to the singer, in an issue of ‘PEOPLE Magazine’, her grandmother used to refer to her as “rebel flower”, which is the inspiration behind the name of the perfume.
Rihanna also stated in the magazine that “over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own, but I wanted something that said ‘Rihanna was here. Something delicious and special…a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
The fragrance will be sold at US$49.
