CHARLESTOWN Nevis, January 13 2011 - The issue of Nevisians not being able to see the 8pm encounters in the ongoing WICB T-20 series has been a major debate in recent days.

More investigations have been done in the matter and the following has been revealed:

ESPN channel Four is responsible for bringing the games that commence at four pm but ESPN 2 is responsible for bringing the games that commence at 8pm.

Checks with the local Caribbean Cable company yesterday revealed that the local network does not currently have access to ESPN 2, although other islands within the Caribbean have access to the channel.

When asked about the possibility of linking up with the channel for the next two weeks or so, one of the Technicians at the company indicated that it was not possible.  “We tried--we really tried but it did not work out’, he stated.

It means therefore that the much anticipated match between the Leewards and  Trinidad and Tobago which commences at 8pm tonight, will not be seen live by Nevisian cricket lovers.

The only consolation is that the matches are being brought live via ABS radio 90.50 FM and replays may be seen on ESPN four at a later date.
