Ryno and Aidonia put tensions to rest

By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IT is a much welcomed and gentlemanly gesture when two men, knowingly at war, can put aside their differences, embrace each other and show society that soft words can indeed turn away wrath.

That is what happened earlier this week when rival dancehall sensations Ryno and Aisonia ended their long-standing feud and became friends.

Aidonia, a known enemy of the Vybz Kartel headed Portmore Empire to which Ryno was once affiliated, told One876entertainment, “Me and Ryno never really have anything but you know how it go more times…a man have to just hold him own and do what him have to do.”

The J.O.P artiste went on to say that he is focused on positivity and upliftment, and so if he sees a way how he could help some youth then he would do that.

Since Ryno left Portmore Empire he was attacked on several occasions and is currently trying to rebuild his career. He underwent two name changes last year. The first was from Black Ryno to Ryno Di Stinger and from that to Ryno, his current stage name.

According to Ryno in a previous interview with another media house, the last part of his former stage name (Di Stinger) was making his life miserable due to some gang- related issues.

With this renewed friendship, the managers of both artistes have expressed the possibility of them doing tracks together in the near future.
