    CHARLESTOWN Nevis, January 17th 2011 - The selectors responsible for selecting the Nevis Masters squad met recently and finalized a squad to be placed into immediate training towards preparations for the Leeward Islands Masters tournament slated for St.Croix later this year.

     


    The selectors are: Carlylse Hobson-Chairman; Glen Herbert and Eustace Johnson.

     


    It is understood that most of the players were selected based on current form in the recently concluded Masters’ Parish league but selection was not limited to participation or lack thereof in the tournament.

     


    The following players are therefore kindly asked to meet with National Coach Staurt Williams at the ETWillet Park on Thursday 20th January for a very important meeting.

     


    The squad which includes four wicketkeepers and four captains reads:

     


    St.James’: Wendell Wallace; Winston Sutton; Leroy Elliot; Earl David; Clive Hamilton

     


    St.Thomas’: Frank Monzac; Eustace Johnson; Derek Parry; Tony Grant; Samuel Williams;
    Charles Morton; Alexis Browne; Teddy Liburd; Gaston Eddy; Lincoln Barry; Prince Williams

     


    St.George’s: Curtis Morton; Charles Hendrickson; Earl Rawlins; John Maynard; Franklyn
    Daniel; Junior Mills; Wilson Liburd; Ralph Allen; Sterling Marshall; Sydney Newton; Vance Amory, Colin Mills

     


    St.John’s: Bernette Thompson; Malcolm Ramsey; Harvey Stapleton; Austin Browne; Rudy Browne; Derek Blair

     


    St.Paul’s: Staurt Williams; Carl Tuckett; Merlin Liburd; Gerard Charles; Oneil Walters; Donovan Matthews; Elroy David; Brain Dyer; Ellison Smithen; Livingstone Powell

     


    The four captains are: Stuart Williams; Merlin Liburd; Frank Monzac and Wendell Wallace

     


    The four wicketkeepers are: Eustace Johnson; Malcolm Ramsey; Ralph Allen; Donovan Matthews and Oneil Walters

     


    The meeting will commence promptly at 5pm on Thursday
