North Sound, Antigua, January 17th 2011 – The last over thrills and spills continue in Caribbean Twenty20 2011. On Saturday evening it was the turn of Canada and Trinidad & Tobago and they did not disappoint.

 
Canada batted first and made 128 for 5 from 20 overs with Zubin Sarkari stroking a measured 42 from 49 balls with four boundaries while opener Ruvindu Gunasekera made 39 from 40 balls with three fours.

 
Sherwin Ganga trumped the Trini bowling with 2 for 26.
 

It looked to be a total the star studded Trini batting would overhaul with some ease but that was not to be.

 
The scraped  and scrambled their way to 118 for 5 from 19 overs against a feisty Canadian unit intent on showing their worth. It meant they needed 10 runs from the last over which was bowled by Rizwan Cheema.
 

Kevon Cooper managed a boundary and along with Daren Ganga produced a stream of singles to leave 2 runs needed from the final delivery. Ganga cooly stroked the ball to wide long on and the pair darted through the two runs needed to hand Trinidad & Tobago the cliffhanger win.
 

Lendl Simmons was named Star of the Match for his top score of 31 while the level-headed Ganga remained not out on 27.

 
Balaji Rao, the leg spinner picked up 2 for 24 from his three overs as Trinidad & Tobago ended on 129 for 5 from 20 overs.
 

The Antigua leg of CT20 was brought to an end by the thrilling finish and the tournament will now move on to Barbados for continuation of the preliminary matches and the semi final and final.
