BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A 15-year-old girl of Lozack Road who escaped from police custody is back at the Basseterre Police Station after she was apprehended early this morning while partying at The Strip in Frigate Bay.
Information reaching SKNVibes states that the juvenile was arrested around noon on Thursrday (Jan. 20) for allegedly stealing a cellular phone and was in custody at the Basseterre Police Station pending investigations.
However, sometime in the evening she informed the officers that she was asthmatic and needed her medication which was at her Lozack Road home.
Accompanied by an officer, the juvenile was taken to her home but she jumped through a window and escaped.
SKNVibes learned that she was seen at The Strip at 2;00 a.m. this morning partying and was subsequently arrested. She is currently in custody at the Basseterre Police Station and will soon be charged for escaping from lawful custody.
