CHARLESTOWN Nevis, March 8th 2011 - Singing Jackie is the special guest at the Pink Lily Cancer Care and Voices of Women Party/Entertainment event at the Old Manor Hotel scheduled to be held on Saturday 12, at 8.00 p.m to 1.00 a.m at the Old Manor Hotel Gingerland.
The event is entertainment and fun packed according to the two charities’ coordinating committee.
The two charities who have teamed together to raise money to fund Pink Lily Cancer Care to be able to offer 100 free mammongrams to women and to fund an alternative to violence workshop as they lead the women and public at large to mark the 100th anniversary of the International Women Year being marked today.
The two charities have organized a special movie night where the movie, For Coloured Girls will be screened at The Riviere House , Government Road at 8.00 p.m
Entertainment will also be offered by Queen Anastasia, Lloyd Williams, Lavish, Island Expressions, Steel Pan, Kimson Bryant, Kasanova Band. Poetry and calypso dancing will also be part of the evening’s exciting activities.
