CHARLESTOWN Nevis, March 21st 2011 - Manager/ Coach of the CCC Bath Football club Alex Claxton,  indicated yesterday that he is not only interested in the Bath Footballers developing their Football skills but that he is interested in the total development of the players.

This he said shortly after the club had attended church service as a group at the New Testament Church in Bath Village.  “It’s not only their physical well being that is important.  Their spiritual development is absolutely necessary,” stated Claxton.

He pointed to the current problems within the local communities with many of the young men getting involved in anti social behaviour.  According to Claxton, he wants his players to be role models within the community—on and off the field of play.

The players indicated that they had thoroughly enjoyed the service and are looking forward to similar visits to other churches as this will be a regular feature for the club.
