    In this ERASMUS WILLIAMS PHOTO, Grenada's Prime Minister Dr. the Right Hon. Keith Mitchell, who will host the upcoming CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in July, arriving for the 15th Inter-Sessional in Basseterre last Thursday.
    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (MARCH 29TH 2004) Grenada is to host the 25th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) in July.

     

     

     

    This was one of the decisions taken at the 15th Inter-Sessional of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) held here last week.

     

     

     

    Caribbean leaders agreed to hold the meeting from July 3rd to 6th .

     

     

     

    At the closing stages of the meeting, the President of Guyana, His Excellency Bharrat Jagdeo expressed thanks to St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Denzil L. Douglas, for not only hosting the meeting, but also the leadership role in completing the agenda.

     

     

     

    “We also had a very good time in St. Kitts,” said the Guyana President just before Prime Minister Douglas brought the two-day meeting to an end Friday night.

     

     

     

    The communiqué expressed great appreciation to the Government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis for hosting the meeting at such short notice and for the excellent arrangements put in place.
