    ROAD TOWN, Tortola, BVI, April 9, 2011 - Mr. Roberts is also expected to pay courtesy calls on the Premier Hon. Ralph T. O’Neal, OBE; Deputy Premier and Minister for Health and Social Development Hon. Dancia Penn, OBE, QC and Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Julian Fraser, RA, a press release from the Governor’s Office stated.

     

    Criminal Justice, financial services and economy planning are some of the other topics that the FCO Director of Overseas Territories is expected to be involved in.

     

    Other courtesy calls would include to the Leader of the Opposition Hon. Dr. D. Orlando Smith, OBE; Deputy Governor Mrs. V. Inez Archibald; Managing Director of the Financial Services Commission Mr. Robert Mathavious; Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Mr. Reynell Frazer; Superintendent of Prisons Mr. Richard Holder and the Director of Disaster Management Ms. Sharlene DaBreo.

     

    The release also said Mr. Roberts would have the opportunity to meet a cross-section of officials and members of civic society during his visit.

     

    Mr. Roberts, who was appointed Director of Overseas Territories, FCO in 2008, first visited the territory in January 2010.
