    CHARLESTOWN Nevis, April 14th 2011 - This coming Saturday -16 Th April will see the hosting of what has now become, the annual Titans Athletics Club A-1 Technology Relay championships.

     


    The meet will feature the Titans Club and Gladiators from Nevis, the Pacesetters and the Extreme Velocity Clubs from St. Kitts among others. Events to be competed will be the 4X1, 4X2, 4X4, Sprint Medley and Distance Medley.

     

     
    There will be six categories: Under 15, Under 17 and Open,  for Males and Females.  The opening Ceremony will commence at 2:00pm. Entrance into the ET Willet Park, the venue for the meet is only $5.00 to be a part of this unique and exciting event.

     


    There will be eats and drinks on sale as well as musical interludes by Selector Dendy of the ever popular Mad Links Sound system. Races kick off at 3:00 pm with the 4X200's and events every ten minutes thereafter. Points will be awarded for the top 5 finishers in each event and a 2011 Champion will be crowned at 7:15 pm.

     


    The meet is both a test for the athletes and a fundraiser for the Titans Athletics Cub, who will be taking Wadadli (Antigua) by storm on May 8th.
