BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 21st 2011 (CUOPM) – Minister of Health and Social Development and Gender Affairs and Parliamentary Representative for Central Basseterre, the Hon. Marcella Liburd hosts the Third Annual Family Fun Day on Friday 22nd April (Good Friday).
0ne ‘o’ clock in the afternoon, the Gardens Playing Field will be a beehive of activity for children and adults of all ages.
Organisers say events to be staged include female cricket, basketball, mother and daughter race, father and son race, family relay, kite flying competition, Easter egg hunt and a Kids Zone.
Drinks and food including fish, saltfish, Johnny cakes, sweet potato, breadfruit, green bananas, conkie, fish soup, mauby and ginger beer will be on sale and music will be by D Floyd.
