ROAD TOWN, Tortola, British Virgin Islands - Reports reaching VINO indicates that the pilot was in the process of landing the small aircraft when he reportedly skidded off the already narrow runway. Officials said they could not comment on the incident as it is under investigation.

Sources said the incident reportedly occurred around 2:15 p.m. and that the pilot was the lone person in the aircraft, which reportedly sustained minor damage.
