BASSETERRE St.Kitts, April 26th 2011 - Beaumont Park’s “Second Annual Easter Celebration” sponsored by Digicel is now in the record books. The end result, an action packed racing program of six exciting Thoroughbred horse races and an afternoon of fun-filled activities and entertainment.

Musical entertainment to the delight of the many fans was provided by DJ Wett Dutt, Grand Masters Band, Infamus, and Shakki Star Fire. It was certainly a celebration enjoyed by the entire family.

Owner Daislyn Sharpe saw her American Dance remain undefeated in the featured EC$10,000 “Digicel Easter Cup”. American Dance literally danced his way to an impressive three-length victory under snug restraint on this beautiful Easter Sunday afternoon.

In doing so, American Dance shattered the old mark formally set by Yodallah and Bad Action by one-fifth of a second, in turn making Beaumont Park history by running the seven furlong distance in one minute, twenty-four and two-fifths seconds. Trained by Donovan Hall and ridden by his regular rider Laird Bailey, this was the sixth victory in a row since reaching the shores of St. Kitts for American Dance. Osuna finished second. Jockey Jeff Jacobs had the riding assignment of the winner in this open company event. Reina Mia was second, Dryden was third.
