The Bible says it is more blessed to give than to receive. F & F Transportation,owners of the M V Caribe Queen, donated a gas stove and draft board to the Cardin Home on Friday, 15 April 2011.
In making the presentation on behalf of F & F Transportation, Miss Doldria Penny indicated that “We at F & F Transportation owners of the M V Caribe Queen are very happy that we can be of assistance to the Cardin Home by presenting this small token. We recognise and cherish the many years of service and sacrifices our senior citizens would have made for the development of our nation.We hope that this token will assist with the efficiency of the daily operations of the institution which will in turn benefit the residents at the home.”
Miss Gail Cranston, Supervisor of the Cardin Home who accepted the stove and draft board on behalf of the Ministry of Health, The Institution Based Health Services, expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to F & F Transportation for their generous donation.
She assured F & F Transportation that these items will be used for the sole purpose of our residents.Miss Cranston wished Captain Ingie and F&F Transportation every success in the future.
The MV Caribe Queen, has been providing ferry service in the Federation since 1981. Recently its service was extended to Montserrat and Antigua and Barbuda.
