BASSETERRE St. Kitts, May 18th 2011 - After a brief hiatus and urging by the fans from throughout the region, the Anguilla Talented Teen Committee has revived the Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant.
This prestigious pageant is scheduled to be held on Saturday May 21st in Anguilla, and representing St. Kitts -Nevis will be Ms. Siobhan Phipps the reigning Contec DT National Talented Teen.
Taking the awards for Best Ambassadorial Speech and Best Interview, Ms. Phipps of the Immaculate Conception Catholic School captured the crown from a field of eight contestants on December 27th 2010.
Ms. Phipps will now compete against other regional reigning talented teens in Anguilla where they will be judged in four categories; Promotional Speech, Talent, Evening Wear and Onstage Interview.
The Ministry of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs as well as the National Carnival Committee extend best wishes to Ms. Phipps as she journeys to Anguilla this weekend.
