BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A local entertainment company, Xpress Events, today (May 19) launched the VIP Experience premium package for the 15th annual St. Kitts Musical Festival scheduled for June 23-25.
The launch took place at the ZIZ Studio and Express Events’ Chief Executive Officer Shannon Hawley explained that the all-inclusive VIP Experience premium package offers an exclusive entrance, an excellent view of the concert, food, drinks, great ambience, waiter services, security and a raised covered platform for only EC$250 or a season ticket for EC$675.
Hawley said she and her team are passionate, dedicated and creative when it comes to staging events and productions.
She noted that the management team of Xpress Events prides itself on three E’s in event planning - Experience, Expertise and Execution.
Hawley told members of the media that over the past three years, they have been involved in theme parties, corporate functions, premium décor, food and beverage catering and the introduction of the VIP experience at the 2010 St. Kitts Music Festival.
She declared that last year when her company approached the Music Festival Committee with the VIP Experience, they offered an affordable package to patrons which was readily accepted by the Committee.
Hawley explained that they attracted approximately 200 patrons per night, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed the range of services they had to offer.
She noted that, based on the feedback, this year they have decided to improve on their VIP package and offer an all-inclusive premium package to the patrons.
“As a private sector partner, we wanted to become more involved to help create that unforgettable experience, and we jumped head first into waters that were never tested. By all accounts, from all accounts, last year’s VIP Experience was a tremendous success,” she expressed.
Music Festival Chairman Faron Lawrence, who was present at the conference, said that the Committee endorses the VIP Experience as it has always been discussing ways of enhancing the event, adding that one such way was creating a VIP experience.
Lawrence indicated that last year he was pleased when they received the proposal which offered great potential not only to the festival, but also to the patrons.
“We were satisfied last year. It was well received and supported and we are very pleased for another proposal this year,” he added.
The Chairman stated that he was assured that they are all on the same page on improving last year’s event.
