BRADES, Montserrat, May 19th 2011 - Ten athletes all under 15 years head to Anguilla on Friday to compete in the Leeward Islands Youth Track and Field Championships May 21 and 22, 2011.

The 10 have been in training since their selection during the annual school meets with Coach Cordella Yearwood. Four are in the Under-11 category; three in Under-13 and four in Under-15.

The group has been raising funds to make the trip and received much-needed support from Alex Hourani of Cool & Smooth Antigua. Hourani's company donated gym bags, Gatorade drinks as well as racing uniforms.

Parliamentary Secretary, the Hon. Jermaine Wade was at their Wednesday training to wish them well and to accept the donations on behalf of the Ministry of Sports.
