BASSETERRE St. Kitts, May 23rd 2011 - The countdown is on and everything is set for ZIZ’s 50th Anniversary Song Competition. Supporters of the competition can wet their musical palates next Friday, May 27 downtown on Fort Street, Basseterre where onlookers will get a preview of the artistes who are in the running for the sing off.
Public Relations Officer for the event, Cleon Bradshaw says the competition promises to be of a high caliber and will see an array of genres performed by some of the best vocals and talents the federation has produced.
Some of the artistes that will be entertaining the masses are ITYC and Marshall C, Phillisa Webbe a.k.a Pheweb, Jervin Vanterpool a.k.a Minister L-K, Dejour Alexander, Ariel Peets (Tempest Records), Seymona Hutton, Eric Carter, Michael Chambers, Rudy Morton a.k.a Dollarz and Kenneth Nicholls a.k.a Hotter Lyrics.
The action kicks of at 3 p.m. with live music from DJ Ronnie Rascal. ZIZ has organized lots of giveaways for this key event. The actual show takes place on Saturday the 28th. Tickets will go on sale from Friday 20th from BCA outlet and Tony Berry.
