BASSETERRE ST. Kitts, June 3rd 2011 - Come this Saturday night, the big question is who out of four finalists will be named the best in the inaugural St.Kitts Music Festival DJ Sound Clash competition to be held at Carnival Village.
The competitors vying for the title are Freedom Sound, Chalice International, Vigilante and Black Stone.
The competition which began with six competitors and is now down to the final four.
The previous round (Round 2) of the competition was held on Saturday 21st May.
The finalists had attained the following points which allowed them the opportunity to advance to the final round: Freedom (191 points), Chalice International (157 points) , Vigilante (137 points) , Black Stone ( 135points). Points from Round 2 will be carried over in the final round.
Scheduled to perform on the night of the big finale are Nicha B, SMI, Dymanyzd as well as Dejour Alexander.
The show will be hosted by popular female DJ, Triple S-Sweet Sister Sensia.
The winner of the Music Festival DJ Sound Clash in addition to pocketing EC$2500 will receive a trophy, one (1) season pass and 2 season tickets, as well as, bragging rights to be called the St. Kitts Music Festival Sound DJ and will get a 20-30 minute performance on the Saturday night of the upcoming 15th annual St. Kitts Music Festival.
The second place DJ Sound will receive EC$500 Trophy, one (1) season pass and one (1) season ticket.
This event is one of many events being held by the St. Kitts Music Festival Local Promotions Committee.
