What do Billy Claxton,Vere Harris, Florence Harley, Castella Audain, and Tiffany Johnson all have in common? If you answered that they all have bmobile service you are partly correct, but pat yourself on the back if you answered that they are winners of a thousand dollars each just for being bmobile customers.
The week beginning 17th October was an extraordinary one for these five customers. Imagine waking up and going through the normal routines of life, when suddenly at
midmorning your phone rings and the person on the next end says, "Congratulations, you are the luck winner of $1,000 from bmobile."
Such was the experience of these 5 customers whose ordinary day was turned into extraordinary sometime between the hours of 10am to 11am from Monday October 17th.
One customer recalled that he was deluged with calls from his friends minutes after he was announced the very first winner of the bMobile cash promotion.
In his case, only his number was announced and with that, his phone was ringing off the hook. Thankfully, the very next day on Tuesday morning, at the same time the second customer was contacted in person about his winnings.
A similar call was repeated another 3 times over the course of the week to round out the list of the first 5 winners. The promotion, which is hosted by the C&W-sponsored DJ, Sugar Bowl, will run for the next 8 weeks, and at its conclusion during the last week of this year, would have paid out a total of $50,000.
There is no pre-qualification or questions; customers are simply expected to answer their phones.
