    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 8TH 2006 (CUOPM)
      The Beaumont Park Horse Race Track, Kittitian Heights Resort and Golf Course and the new Saddlers High School are among issues to be discussed with residents of Parsons on Thursday 9th November.

    Parliamentary Representative for the area, Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will update residents of this part of his constituency, during a meeting at the Parsons Community Center. The meeting begins at 7:00 P.M.

    ~~Adz:Right~~Dr. Douglas, elected to the National Assembly in march 1989, will also use the opportunity to inform residents of other issues affecting Parsons in particular and St. Kitts and Nevis in general.
    A US$17 million Beaumont Park Track for thoroughbred horse and horse greyhound races is currently under construction in the Whitegate area of Dieppe Bay. Beaumonts Parks vision is for St. Kitts to have the premier horse and greyhound racing track in the Caribbean.

    Residents in other parts of the constituency have already given the thumbs up for the construction of the US$300 million Kittitian Heights Resorts in the Belmont area of St. Pauls, St. Kitts.

    ~~Adz:Left~~Construction of the new Saddlers Secondary School and Multi-Purpose Learning Complex began in September.
    The civil works which is in Phase I is to be completed in March 2007 and Phase II will begin at the same time and includes the construction of classrooms, toilets, science and computer labs, learning resource centres and other technical learning spaces and should be completed by September 2008.
