This Saturday, January 6th 2007, a group of Kittitian University students studying in the United States, Canada, England and the Caribbean will be hosting an event entitled "College Expo 2007- The University Experience" This is a One Day Expo that is geared towards persons who hope to pursue university education in the near future.
A spokesperson for the "College Expo 2007" stated that this event will provide concrete information on the SAT examination, selling oneself on the university application, Tips on Selecting the Right University and there will be a session on the myths and facts of the Total University Experience. She furthered mentioned that the Expo will serve as a medium to prepare fellow Kittitians and Nevisians for university. ~~Adz:Right~~
Another objective is the promotion of higher education especially to those who never considered it as an option. The spokesperson has promised a very exciting event as there will be very energetic representatives from universities in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Connecticut, Georgia, Pennsylvania, The Caribbean and England just to name a few. There will be numerous giveaways and countless surprises.
College Expo 2007- The University Experience takes place this Saturday January 6th 2007 at the Basseterre High School Auditorium. Although it is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m., it is advised all attendees be seated by 9:30am.
