·         On 8^th January 2006, Darryl Jederon of Lower Market Street/Conaree Village who was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" committed on 7^th June 2006 was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in two (2) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment. He was also convicted on a charge of "Wounding" committed on 11^th September 2006 and was fined $600.00 to be paid in two (2) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment.

·         On 8^th January 2006, Tyrone Jones of St. Pauls who was charged with two counts of "Wounding" committed on 30^th December 2006 was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in two (2) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment on each count.

Also at the said court on 5^th January 2006, Wycliffe Liburd of Monkey Hill, who was charged with the offence of "Rape" committed on 1^st October 2006, was committed to stand trial at the May 2007 Criminal Assizes.

The following persons wee convicted at the Sandy Point Magistrate Court on Friday 5^th January 2007;

·         Clive Rufuene of St. Pauls who was charged with the offence of "Wounding" was convicted and cautioned upon the request of the victim.~~Adz:Right~~

·         Dean Boddie of Tabernacle who was charged with the offence of "Larceny" committed on 25^th December 2006 was convicted and fined $1000.00 to be paid in two months or in default to serve two months imprisonment.

The following persons were arrested and charged between 6^th and 8^th January 2007;

·         Jermaine Merritt of Basseterre was charged with the offence of "Being found in a Dwelling House for an Unlawful Purpose" committed on 29^th November 2006.

·         Bervil Isaac of Yearwood Street, Cayon Village was charged with the offence of "Wounding" committed on 2^nd January 2007.

·         Trevis Brazier of Government Road, Charlestown was charged with the offence of "Shooting at With Intent" committed on 1^st January 2007 at Main Street, Charlestown.

·         A (16) sixteen-year-old male of the New Road area, was charged with the offence of "Wounding" committed on 6^th January 2007.
