Totas shop on George Street New Town where Judith Tota assisted as a school child and in her adult life.
The death of a New Town resident whose familys name is known throughout St. Kitts for their business on George Street, New Town has left many sad.

An autopsy performed on 56-year-old Judith Tota of New Town earlier today Tuesday, Jan. 16 revealed that Tota died from heart failure.

Statements of the report from resident pathologist Dr. Santiago stated that she had a massive pulmonary edema and died due to the failure by the left ventricular (heart-attack).

Judiths body was found motionless in her car at Half Moon Bay, Frigate Bay, where she was pronounced dead on the spot.

A few residents from New Town have shared kind words in remembrance of Judith.

In the area that Judith grew up, (George Street) two men that appeared to be in their 40s spoke well of her.  One, a Rasta man, said that he remembered that Judith attended school with his older sister and that she was an alright, cool, quiet and calm girl.

He said This is very shocking that she died.

The other gentleman who sat down on some~~adz:Right~~ stairs while we spoke also said she was quiet and a very cool person who would give to people when they had nothing.

Another individual was in her familys shop, Totas, sat by the counter looking at the television.

Again, speaking of Judith, he said that she was a good cook.

He continued by saying that she had a nice personality, very friendly and enjoyed being around the older folks helping them whenever she could.
