| Newly Appointed TDC Group Executive Director, Mr. Ernie France |
Basseterre, St. Kitts - The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company (TDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ernie France as an Executive Director to the Board of the Parent Company, TDC Limited, effective from 1st February 2007.
Mr. France first joined the Company in 1988, as an Assistant in the Nevis Branch of TDC Rentals Limited. He then went on to be appointed Manager of said Company, before leaving to further his studies in 1991. In the ensuing four (4) years, he completed a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and an Associates Degree in Data Processing. Upon rejoining the Company in 1994, he took up the position of Marketing Assistant and by 1999, was appointed as Marketing Manager of the Company's Nevis Operations.
In March of 2000, Mr. France was asked to serve as a Director on the Board of TDC Nevis Limited and in 2003, was one of three persons appointed to the position of Manager, Nevis Operations. He was later promoted to the position of General Manager, Nevis Operations in July 2005.~~adz:Right~~
A former Employee of the Year in 1990, France has excelled in his Service to the Company. Commenting on his appointment, Board Chairman Michael Morton said, "Ernie is certainly an employee who can serve as a role model for others to follow."
He went on, "The Company is particularly pleased to be able to promote one of its own and to recognize the hard work, commitment, and dedication of one of its employees. We hope that this serves as an inspiration to all our staff."
