·         On 28^th January 2007, Gregory Anthony Zakers of College Housing was charged with the offence of "Murder" committed on 9^th September 2006 at St. Pauls. Zakers is the third person to be charged with the murder of sixteen-year-old "Joash Smithen" formerly of St. Pauls Village. Two male juvenile of the Basseterre and St. Paul's area were previously charged for their part in the incident.

·         Llewellyn Browne of King Street was charged with the offence of "Indecent Assault" committed on 24^th January 2007;

·         Clyde Matthew of Upper Monkey Hill was charged with the offence "Possession of a Firearm" and "Possession of Ammunition" committed on 25^th January 2007 at St. Peters.

·         Jermul Jules of Willets Housing Project, St. Pauls was charged with the offence of "Burglary" committed on 9^th January 2007 at St. Pauls.

·         Alphonso Martin alias "The Big One" of Upper Prickley Pear Alley was charged with the offence "Obstructing an officer while in the execution of his duty" committed on 27^th January 2007 at Port Zante.

·         Cutie Vernon Michael Hanley of Lower Shaw Avenue was charged with the offence of "Uttering a forged document" committed on 14^th December 2006.~~adz:Right~~

·         Kelvin Lewis of Newtown, Basseterre was charged with the offence "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis committed on 26^th January 2007 at Charlestown, Nevis. He bailed in the sum of $5000.00 to appear at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on 30^th January 2007.

·         Petra Springette of Stoney Grove, Nevis was charged with the offence of "Larceny" committed between 23^rd and 24^th January 2007 in Nevis.

At the Sandy Point Magistrate Court on 26^th January 2007, Kelvin Kelly of Challengers Village who was charged with the offence of Driving without due care and attention was convicted and cautioned.
