Getting children and the general public involved in keeping St. Kitts clean is going to be a main focus for the UNESCO Small Island Voice Committee this year. Secretary General of UNESCO Antonio Maynard said two recent projects were successes, including the Sea Turtles Poster Competition and the Carnival Clean-Up Troupe. ~~adz:Right~~
UNESCO Small Island Voice hopes to implement projects this year that highlight that focus. They would like to involve the youth in Beach Monitoring and hikes to highlight the environment and heritage of St. Kitts and Nevis.
