The following persons were arrested and charged on 20th February 2007;
Football player Jevon Francis who resides at Lime Kiln Housing Project, St. Kitts was recently charged with the offence of "Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm" committed on 16th February 2007 at Basseterre.
A (16) sixteen-year-old male of the Wades Garden area, was charged with the offence of "Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"committed on 29th January 2007 at Basseterre.
On Tuesday 20th February 2007, the January Assizes of the High Court continued with the case of the DPP vs Kurt Guitirrez who was charged with the offence of "Indecent Assault" committed on 29th February 2004. After the jury deliberated and brought back a guilty verdict, Guitirrez was sentenced to serve four (4) years imprisonment with hard labour.~~adz:Right~~
At the Sandy Point Magistrate Court 20th February 2007, Troy Williams of West Farm who was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis, was convicted and sentenced to serve two (2) months imprisonment with hard labour.
Also a the Sandy Point Magistrate Court 20th February 2007, Kevin Wilson of Lodge Village who was charged with the offence of "Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" committed between 19th and 20th November 2004 was committed to stand trial at the May 2007 Criminal Assizes.
