Basseterre, St. Kitts Students enrolled in the Architectural Design and Technology Programme at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) were formally reintroduced to the TDC/Berger Paints (Barbados) Limited Academic Scholarship Programme.
Mr. Noah Mills, TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager (CRM) made a formal presentation to the student body and staff at the Technical and Vocational Annex on Tuesday 6th March, 2007.
The interactive and informative, hour-long session focused on the application processes, the selection criteria, and the benefits of being awarded the accolade, from a local and regional standpoint.
According to Mills, the Scholarship Programme was established in 2001, and is specifically designed to financially assist students who exhibit high levels of academic achievement and excellence.
It is valued at five thousand five hundred dollars (EC$5,500) and covers expenses for students pursuing studies for the two-year Architectural Technician Diploma.
Mills also noted that with the programme being associated with one of the most recognised Paint Manufactures in the Caribbean (BERGER Paints), as well as, TDC, the recipient will be expected to maintain high standards.
