On 7^th March 2007 at the High Court, Shinnel Bass of Lower Monkey Hill, who was indicted on a charge of 'Obtaining Money by False Pretences', was fined $8,000.00 to be paid in twelve (12) months or in default she would serve eighteen (18) months in prison with Hard Labour. 

On 7^th March 2007 the following persons were arrested and charged for various offences:

1.     Ronald Hickson of Fort Thomas Road was charged with the offence of 'Indecent Assault' on an adult female, committed at Taylors Housing on 2^nd March 2007.

2.     Darnell Govia of Phillips Village was charged with the brutal 'Murder' of Nigel 'Daffy' Henry, committed on 27^th February 2007 on the island main road at Borryeaux.

3.     Seymour James of Farms Site, Sandy Point was charged with the offence of 'Malicious Damage' committed at the Sandy Point main road on 6^th March 2007.

4.     Virgil 'Hippe' Gumbs of Parray Village was charged with the offence of 'Driving without Due Care and Attention', committed at New Road on 16^th February 2007.  ~~adz:Right~~

  On 8^th March 2007 the following persons were arrested and charged for various offences:

1.     Leon Jeffers of Butlers Village was charged with the offence of 'Wounding', committed at Gingerland, Nevis on 6^th March 2007.

2.     Dwayne Matthew of Lodge Village was charged with the offence of 'Possession of a Controlled Drug' to wit cannabis, committed Grove Park, Nevis on 7^th March 2007.
