One of the booths placed on Fort Street.
(Basseterre; St. Kitts):  Earlier this morning, Tuesday, March 13, huts or booths were erected on Fort Street, and in Frigate Bay.

The booths are visitor information booths mainly for match days of the ICC World Cup but they will also be in use on non-match days according to Unoma Allen, Cooperate Communications Manager of the Ministry of Tourism.

"There are 25 volunteers who will be working the three boots to provide visitors with any information they may need whether it's directions, restaurants or events," she said.

She also said that persons can send them information to provide the visitors with.

According to Allen, besides the booths there will also be groups of persons stationed at different places around Basseterre; these persons are roaming visitor information volunteers and will be wearing T-shirts that say 'ASK ME'.~~adz:Right~~

The information service will be available from  March 14 until March 24.
