    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
National Caribbean Insurance (NCI) has donated EC$ 20,000 to the Fort Street Beautification Project.
The very significant contribution was made on Friday last, at the companys headquarters, during a brief ceremony.

Mrs. Judith Attong, the General Manager, handed over the monetary contribution to Mr. Ernest Amory, which effectively underscored her companys genuine interest in the development of the local community.

Mrs. Attong said her companys generosity was indicative of their commitment to the betterment of St. Kitts and Nevis and was also reflective of their efforts to convey how proud and dedicated the NCI family was to serving the community.

Mr. Amory stated that he was extremely pleased with the contribution and noted that it will certainly help in the procurement of additional lighting for Fort Street.

He indicated that the response to the Fort Street Beautification Project has been quite satisfactory, and added that the reviews of the Fort Street renovations have been extremely positive.

He encouraged the business community and citizens to continue to give towards the project and noted that a complete financial report will be provided at the end of the project.~~adz:Right~~
