    Basseterre, St. Kitts (March 22, 2007): Dr. Gina Watson Lewis, the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO)/World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will pay her first visit to the Federation March 28 and 29.

    Dr. Watson Lewis who also represents the French dependencies of Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana will present her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry and Commerce Honourable Dr. Timothy Harris while a courtesy copy of the credential instruments will be presented to Minister of Health Honourable Rupert Herbert.
     
    While on her two-day visit, the PAHO Representative will also attend a Review Meeting at which she will give remarks on the progress of technical cooperation between her organizations and St. Kitts and Nevis, review and discuss the Federation's Health Progress Report and hear of the Ministry of Health's priorities for 2008-2009.
     
    The second day of Dr. Watson Lewis' visit will be spent chiefly discussing health activities of 2007 in working groups.
