    Hiranmay Dhang Ashok
    Police are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of Indian native, Hiranmay Dhang Ashok, who was reported missing from his workplace at Port Zante on Tuesday 10th April 2007

     

     

     

    At approximately 1:30 p.m. today Thursday 12th April 2007, police were informed by Mr. Ashok's roommate that he had received a call from his friend. Ashok told his roommate that he is well and that he ought not to worry about him.

     

     

     

    Investigations revealed that Ashok begged a local businessman to allow him to make a call from his cell phone, by which means he spoke to his roommate. A further search was made for Mr. Ashok in the Frigate Bay area but officers were not successful in finding him.

     

     

     

    Police are once again appealing for any person who may know of the whereabouts of Mr. Ashok to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at 465-2241 Ext 236 / 230, the Frigate Bay Police Station at 465-6899 or the nearest police station.
