Basseterre, St. Kitts (April 26, 2005): The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba has announced the availability of five scholarships for the 2007-2008 school year.
Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis under the age of 25 and interested in pursuing studies in mechanical engineering, agronomy, scientific and technical information, or sports are invited to apply.

The scholarships are specifically targeted towards students from low income families who cannot afford to pay for their education but who have completed high school. This is in keeping with the commitment of the Cuban government towards human resource development in countries with whom it has friendly relations.~~adz:Right~~
