How do you feel about Brian Lara's recent retirement from cricket?

"I feel that Brian did what he had to do as there has been a feud between him and the governing body International Cricket Council (ICC) all the time. At the end of the day Brian Lara felt or he found out that they were planning to ditch him and so he burst their bubble and he sent in his resignation before they were able to ditch him so he did what they had to do."
    Carl Manners

"I can't say that I have feelings about that because I am not a cricket fan. However, I am sad that he is gone because he went under pressure and that is not supposed to be. I think that he should have held out a little longer and then retired later on a high note."
    Milton Hutson

"Brian Lara is supposed to be the "world's best" when he is not making any runs for World Cup and players like Runako Morton are sitting on the bench. The two of them could have done the same thing. Runako Morton could have made plenty more runs than the so-called "world's best" Brian Lara. I can't see "world's best" in he at all. He should have done retire long time ago. He would have had a better name if he had retired when he had made the 400 runs and broke the record."
    Jack "Zimba" Abbot

"I think that he should have retired since three years ago as his time expired when he made the century. Everything has its time and now I think its time for Ramnaresh Sarwan to be captain. As we all can see Brian Lara's time is up and it is time for the young guys to perform. Once you cannot perform you should be off the team."
    Sean Lucius
