    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
A film crew, representing Iluminatti Entertainment, from the United States, just concluded filming for a movie at various sites in St. Kitts.

The very presence of the film crew on the island is indicative of the success of the proactive initiatives adapted by the local Tourism Authority to promote "Sugar City" through the film industry.

This was the joint belief of Ms. Geo Thompson, Producer, and Mr. Marco Golding, Executive Producer and Financier, of the film company.

The eight member film crew was here to do scenes for the upcoming movie feature "For the Love", a suspense filled drama.

Thompson noted that she was particularly excited because the production is her company's first movie length film and it highlights the very pertinent issue of domestic violence and abuse.

The one hour and eight minutes feature tells of a beautiful young lady who needs to make a choice between her wealthy partner, who abuses her and the man she loves, who is not so financially secure.

The film is scheduled to be released straight to home video, via Net Flix and Blockbuster, in December of 2008.

Thompson, who hails from St. Kitts says she was especially thrilled to be filming here and noted that there was no coincidence in choosing the island for the project.

She said she firmly believes on capitalizing on every opportunity to promote her beautiful homeland and imploring others to enjoy the magic of the St. Kitts.

The producer expressed her gratitude to all who made her team's visit very comfortable.

Among those she singled out were Minister of Tourism, Sport and Culture, Hon. Richard Skerritt, and Mr. Robert Kelly, of the St. Kitts- Nevis Toursim Desk in New York, who pushed for the materialization of the filming on the island, Sandra Wallace and Larkland Richards of the Bird Rock Beach Hotel.

She was very eager to convey her thanks to the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, the Bird Rock Beach Hotel and the Management of the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport.

Among the location they shot at were Brimstone Hill, Island Hopper, Caribelle Batik, Port Zante, West Bourne Ghaut, the Bird Rock Beach Hotel and Frigate Bay.

Executive Producer Golding said he was very excited to have filmed in St. Kitts and added that his trip was two fold as he was able to get some rest and relaxation while accomplishing major progress for his film project.

"The island is incredibly pristine and that is reflective of its people. It is just fantastic. I especially enjoyed my visit to Brimstone Hill, where I had the best knap of my life," he said with excitement.

Golding also revealed that as a business man the visit has seemingly opened some vital windows of opportunity.

He disclosed that he owns a company in Beijing, China, and he does a lot of business transaction between the Far East and United States.

He expressed his desire to return to the island shortly to capitalize on the economic opportunities, which will be beneficial to locals and himself.

Both producers said they hope their production will be the avenue that sees that opens up St. Kitts as the ideal place to shoot scenes.
