BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - NAGICO Insurance Company Ltd. showed their customers just how much the entity values them with a Customer Appreciation Day held in the Independence Square on Friday, June 3.

June 2 marked the seventh year since the company has been operating in St. Kitts and Nevis, and management and staff took the opportunity to thank their customers for their patronage by giving back to them.

The Customer Appreciation Day gave existing and potential customers a chance to interact with the staff and management of NAGICO with the aim of learning more about the products and services they offer, while getting free blood pressure checks and free blood glucose testing, courtesy of the International University of Nursing.

NAGICO's General Manager Rishi Singh told SKNVibes that apart from giving back to their customers, the Appreciation Day was also geared towards promoting healthcare.

“Showing our customers how much we appreciate them is something that we do not get to do very often. So, with this being our Seventh Anniversary, we took the opportunity to have a Customer Appreciation Day and just give something back to them.

“Apart from that, we also took the opportunity to promote healthcare, because health is very important, and we at NAGICO believe that everyone should have some sort of health insurance. No one knows what can happen, and if a medical emergency comes about, instead of having to run to family members, friends or even the church to help with funds, they will have the health insurance to pay for the cost,” he said.

Singh said that one of their new products is ‘NAGICare’, a health insurance plan that has various levels geared towards different income groups. The different levels are Turquoise, Emerald, Gold, and Platinum. It also includes EC and US dollar plans.

The late afternoon saw 10 lucky persons being the winners of Music Festival tickets, compliments of NAGICO, and cellular phones including one Blackberry, compliments of Digicel.

An overjoyed Shamarie James was announced the fortunate winner of the Blackberry.

Other give-aways included gift certificates and NAGICO souvenirs.
Singh thanked Digicel for partnering with NAGICO and helping them to show their customers that they are grateful for being their [customers] choice of insurance company.

The Customer Appreciation Day continues in Nevis at the Memorial Square in Charlestown on June 17.
