A forty eight year old man, Llewellyn Buchanan, affectionately known as Tucker, was found dead in his house at Cardin Avenue, in the "Village" area, on Tuesday, May 22nd, late in the afternoon.

The body was so badly decomposed that the remains had to be immediately buried at the Springfield Cemetery.

According to residents from the area, Tucker was seen as recently as Sunday evening, but was "scarce" after that.

One neighbour said that he had smelt a stench in the morning but he assumed that it was a dead dog.

However, the middle aged man's body was found in the evening and the Police have ruled out foul play.

During the burial, several relatives mourned the loss of their loved one. Several even plucked some fresh flowers to give him a decent "sendoff".

Pastor Gaston Hanley performed the short funeral service.

Buchanan is survived by his mother, Merlees Vanterpool, his loving sister Ergentine Liburd also known as ernie and a host of other relatives and friends.
