| BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 30TH 2007 (CUOPM) - St. Kitts and Nevis' Minister of State for Finance, Sen. the Hon. Nigel Carty is leading the Federation's delegation to the 37th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
Premier of Nevis and Minister of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration, Hon. Joseph Parry, Deputy Financial Secretary in the Federal Government, Mr. Calvin Edwards and Nevis' Financial Secretary, Mr. Laurie Lawrence are also attending the meeting being held in Caracas, Venezuela, The Board of Governors Meeting on Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Radisson Plaza Eurobuilding Hotel in the Venezuelan capital, is highlight of a week of activities taking place.
It was preceded by a meeting of the Bank's Board of Directors on Monday, and the 24th Annual Meeting of Contributors to CDB's Special Development Fund, the concessionary window from which grants, as well as loans on more favourable terms than from the Bank's ordinary operations, are made to CDB's borrowing members.

| Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry | Governors' meeting. The Board of Governors is the highest policy-making body of CDB, and meets once a year to review the operations of the Bank and make major policy decisions. Each member country of the Bank is represented on the Board of Governors.
