(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents which occurred yesterday May 30.
The first incident which took place at around 8:30 a.m. at Old Road left Allester Henderson hospitalized after receiving a gun shot wound in his leg by an off duty policeman. ~~Adz:Right~~
According to a police official the off-duty officer was in the area at the time when someone made a report to him that Henderson was throwing stones and upon apprehending Henderson the off-duty police was struck where he discharged a gunshot at Henderson. The officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
In another incident police are currently searching for a young man to assist them with the shooting of a 24-year-old female who was shot at around 10:15 p.m. at her home in Carifesta Village.
The young woman who was shot in her leg is currently hospitalized.
