BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 31st 2007, The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Police Force is currently conducting investigations into a shooting incident that left a 24 year old young man, Terrence "Las" Hendrickson, nursing a gun shot wound to the knee area, at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

The shooting incident occurred just after two, on Thursday afternoon, in the Upper College Street Ghaut region.

Upon arriving at the scene, the victim was already whisked away to the hospital by the ambulance, but a trail of blood was left on some bushes near to the side of the road, where he apparently fell down.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the gunman pulled up in a car, shot the victim, and then sped away.

Other unconfirmed reports suggest that the victim and his brother had a dispute with some persons the day before and the shooting was in retaliation to the dispute, thus suggesting that the victim knew who his assailant was.
The Police are working assiduously to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice.
